Teeth and Fire
I had a dream that my teeth were falling out. I bit down really hard and my 2nd left side molar cracked in half. In real life, this is the same tooth that had the root canal, and the same tooth on which I will get a permanent crown.
After all the teeth in my lower jaw starting falling out, I came home and saw that my house was smoldering. It wasn't my real house -- it looked like an ancient mansion-- but in the dream, I recognized it as my home. The fire was being put out, but I was more concerned about my broken teeth.
Among other possible explanations, The Dream Dictionary offers this:
"...The loss of teeth in your dream may be from a sense of powerlessness. Are you lacking power in some current situation? Perhaps you are having difficulties expressing yourself or getting your point across. You feel frustrated when your voice is not being heard. You may be experiencing feelings of inferiority and a lack of self-confidence in some situation or relationship in your life. This dream is an indication that you need to be more assertive and believe in the value of your own opinion."
Re: The old mansion on fire :
1. "To see an old, run-down house in your dream, represents your old beliefs, attitudes and how you used to think or feel. A situation in your current life may be bringing about those same old attitudes and feelings. Alternatively, the old house may symbolize your need to update your mode of thinking."
2. "To dream that a house is on fire, indicates that you need to undergo some transformation. If you have recurring dreams of your family house on fire, then it suggests that you are still not ready for the change or that you are fighting against the change. Alternatively, it highlights passion and the love of those around you. "
